Dahlia Dumont is a Brooklyn girl with Eastern European and Middle Eastern roots. She spent years in France and Senegal. All of her history inspired the music for her project 'DecaDence.'
'DecaDence' is a New York City-based group, composed of George Saenz - accordionist and trombonist from the border of Texas and Mexico, Diego Cebollero - guitarist from Argentina, Yoshiki Yamada - bassist from Japan, Chris Hansen - drummer from California, and Dahlia - songwriter, lead vocalist and ukulele skanker. They play reggae in French and in English, and influenced by styles from South America and Europe, east and west.
