Sally Night is a talented British Singer & Songwriter with a rich and velvety voice. Her unique and captivating performances blend Cool Jazz, Swing, Blues & Bossa Nova songs from The Great American Songbook and her own Original Compositions which have a fresh original style, catchy lyrics & irresistible melodies. Sally originally trained as a classical singer in England, then took a break from singing & went traveling and eventually settled in France where she decided to start singing & performing Jazz. Quickly she was discovered buy the great American drummer Bobby Durham ex-drummer to Ella Fitzgerald & Oscar Peterson with whom she performed, toured in Europe, and grew musically for several years and who also inspired Sally to write her first song "Supa Doopa". After Bobby passed away great American bassist, composer & producer Marcus Miller became her new mentor & friend. Sally recently moved to New York under the advice & guidance of Bruce Lundvall of Blue Note/EMI. Since arriving in New York Sally has been performing in New York, Miami, Detroit and other cities and has recorded two new albums for Japan based Venus Records, which also took her to Japan to perform on AXN TV.
